Cat Found Alive in Debris 16 Days After Joplin MO Tornado

Their home at 2417 South Joplin was destroyed in the EF-5 tornado. They registered with FEMA, filed their insurance, and have been able to find several items in the rubble. Unfortunately, one of their cats was dead and a second cat, 13 year old Laverne, was still missing.

Traveling Cat Going Back To Oregon

When the truck driver left Albany, Oregon, bound for Spokane Valley he did not realize he had a stow-a-way in the back. When the truck hauling goods for Target arrived in Spokane Valley and raised the door to unload the surprise cat stow-a-way was ready to get out.
